- August 19, 1976: The Ramones debut album makes headlines in Scotland – almost 4 month before The Sex Pistols appearance on the Bill Grundy Show.
- Okay, the story of how we managed to get this monster to Germany is along one, but the short version goes something like this: In April Ramones Museum Berlin was contacted by Benjamine from San Francisco, offering us this huge 3x4 feet tall “Acid Eaters” display that was used for a Ramones instore appearance in Frisco in 1995. The “Acid Eaters” artwork was professionally carved into styrofoam and handpainted afterwards. The display was signed by Johnny, Joey and Marky Ramone and is probably the largest piece of Ramones memorabilia we ever saw. I took a lot of time, effort, tons of phone calls and a lot of nerves to get this beauty over to Old Europe, and we’d like to thank our friends Mela and Thomas for dealing with the struggles that occured while handling this task. THANK YOU!
