All Ramones memorabilia items are displayed in two rooms. The big room features memorabilia from 1975 to 1985, starting off with the amazing 1975/1976 section. Items on display have historical value as they document the beginning of the punk rock era. Starting with early 1975 CBGB’s flyers and early articles we continue our journey through Ramones history with an original print from The Ramones first album cover by Roberta Bayley, a signed debut album plus the promotional baseball bat sent out by Sire Records in April 1976. In addition you’ll find early photos, flyers and promotional ads. Very interesting is also the contact sheet from Bayley’s cover session for the first album. 36 pictures in total this contact sheet illustrates how much fun the band seemed to have when Bayley shot them for Punk Magazine just around the corner from CBGB’s in early 1976.
